What We Do
Affinity Plus College was established in 2022 by Jane Elderkin, an academic quality consultant with over 17 years' experience across New Zealand's tertiary and vocational education sector.
Having worked extensively in programme development, assessment design, moderation, curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic leadership, Jane recognised a common challenge across the sector. While providers are expected to meet increasingly complex NZQA quality assurance requirements, many need practical, expert support to develop coherent programmes, strengthen assessment practice, and build sustainable quality systems.
Affinity Plus College was founded to bridge that gap by providing practical, evidence-based consultancy and professional development that supports providers to deliver high-quality, learner-centred education with confidence.
Today, we partner with tertiary education providers across New Zealand to support programme development and redevelopment, NZQA programme approval, assessment design, moderation, quality assurance, and academic capability development. Our approach combines strategic advice with practical implementation, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, aligned with NZQA expectations, and embedded into everyday practice.
